David  Palazon

Spanish artist David Palazón is an artist with a commitment to revealing the truth and the beauty of ordinary lives. His beautiful photography subtly reflects the ridiculous as well as the sublime in the most everyday of situations. His 'Use your Head' series of works, currently exhibited on the website, is a collection of portraits taken in Ghana. During two consecutive summers working as a volunteer photographer for Raleigh International in Ghana, David observed the way Ghanaians transport almost everything on their heads. 'Use your Head' is an anthropologic collection which aims to celebrate the act of its simplicity, sometimes comical yet always a reflection of effort in the everyday.

Charles Patey

The photographs shown here have an enigmatic quality. The question of how they are created is not initially easy to answer. Patey's grainy compositions appear to echo the qualities possessed by traditional photography using 35mm film. They have a look of drawings about them and yet, they are photographic. The titles are evocative of traces: of a bird's wing on landing, of a distant interplanetary moment; a comet's tail... Finally, the viewer may discern a horizon and waves...drawings on a beach made by no human hand: these are found markings made my mother nature herself but appropriated by the keen creativity of the artist.

Stanley Peach

As a photographer and as a painter, Peach combines interesting subject matter with an artist’s eye for the keen detail. His photographic work speaks of modern social issues as he creates powerful images of punks and pink clad Russian women. His stunning portrait of Jasmine shows her true beauty as clear brown eyes shine from beneath her veil, whereas the image titled ‘contemplation’ shows the strain of living in the modern world. In other works he uses cryptic symbolism as he photographs a neatly stitched up pear. As a painter he focuses on the same issues, taking complex and interesting subjects and skilfully painting them in unusual situations. Passionate, humane and deeply skilful, this is a multi-talented artist who has a very bright future. We are absolutely delighted to exhibit his work here at LondonArt.

Magda Pelc

Magda Pelc is primarily a Landscape and Interior Designer living and working in Rzeszow, South East Poland. Initially Pelc began to use photography as a way of expanding and exploring an idea. Her photographs became a great way to illustrate her inspirational source and often helped to develop an idea with her clients. Her need to simply document form and structure, as a means to an end, was quickly overtaken by a genuine desire to create a beautiful image. This shift in motivation enabled her to see her images as works of art and encouraged her to begin searching for a way of showing and presenting them. The congenial and amiable quality to all of Magda Pelc's work enables her to adapt the image to suit a specific space. Available in a variety of sizes, they can be ordered as a photographic print, framed behind a thick 1cm deep sheet of Perspex or ordered as a role of wallpaper up to 150cm long. For further information on sizes and relating prices please contact us.

Mathias Pfaff

Matias comes from Switzerland but currently lives and works in London and San Francisco. He uses various mediums and techniques and his portfolio includes three dimensional forms, photographic prints and installations. Looking closely and interpreting is the key to Matias' work, which incorporates the use of symbols. The artist says that his art attempts to draw a line between antiquity and the avant-garde. Therefore art history and perhaps history, understood as narrative story, is important for Matias's timeless work.
