Aiming to create an image that draws on cartoon, comics and caricature he uses humour as a vehicle of creation. “People mainly look funny to me in their strivings towards their goals and that is what I try to express in my pictures.” Fascinated by the grotesque his work is organic in both its creation and its aesthetic.

Otto Schade

With German parents, Otto Schade was born in Chile in 1971, and now lives and works in London. His dual nationality has enabled him to successfully exhibit his paintings in both countries. Fascinated by detail, pattern and repetitive form, Otto uses a variety of mixed media to help him physically reflect texture and surface qualities, and uses colour to intensify the illusion of it. Otto Schade has work in private collections worldwide and has had solo exhibitions in Berlin and Santiago and more recently in London.

Elizabeth Seifert

With a definite sense of colour, Elizabeth's oil on canvas paintings reflect her love for rich, fiery reds and cool sapphire blues. Combining both hot and cold colours and by her use of organic form and spatiality, Seifert creates abstracted imagery which is both fluid and organic.

Natalie Skeete

Natalie is a young London based architect with a focus upon movement through space and the interaction between architecture and the landscape. Her photographs evoke a fascination with textures, surfaces and materiality, experimenting with collage, colour, sculpture, structure and detail; each one bringing a scene that once was, back to life. Further studies lie within abstract and detailed imagery of land and seascapes. Natalie’s photographic appeal derives from her sensitivity to her subjects caught in a brief moment in time, capturing their thoughts, emotions and conversations, while drawing upon the beauty that lies within the architecture, form or space they inhabit.

Steve Slimm

There is a productive tension in Slimm’s work between the representation of actual place and abstract expressionism. Delicate watercolours of solitary trees rub shoulders with large monumental vistas of standing stones and waterfalls. Cornwall is clearly a source of delight to Slimm and he appears to love to reflect the light in his work. Yet often rooting paintings in place also serves to spur his imagination leading to more dramatic gestural compositions.
