Andrew Watts

Travel is one of the fundamental joys of life. Andrew Watts studied art in England, Paris and Madrid and has created many wonderful images that act as the diary of his adventures. His watercolours have been sold to many private individuals who are drawn to the skilled hand, lavish details and intense beauty in all of his work. Whether capturing boys fishing in Australia or the lunch served to an artist in France, his paintings retain a simple pleasure at the blissful moments of a person’s life. His seascapes show the energy and bracing breeze of English costal settings, while his farmyard scenes are delicately detailed and meticulously caught. When travelling into Europe he revels in the light and beauty of fishing villages in Spain and French riverside moorings. These paintings would make the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys skilfully painted watercolours and a slice of tranquil splendour.

David Whitfield

Davis is a portrait artist who finds German Expressionists paintings inspiring. He usually paints his figures from photographic images, and whilst making the painting, he broods over a individual's personality. His attempt is not to produce an image of close likeness, but rather to show some character, often based on his judgment and observation. The choice of colours and their application serve this purpose as well as deconstruction of photographed image does.

Ross Whittemore

Ross Whittemore is a part-time artist living in Great Yarmouth. "My art is inspired mainly on free movement, an oxymoronic mixture of spontaneity and precise placing of the paint. I have a variety of different influences including Giger, Dali, Ben Nicholson and Patrick Heron, so I have a varying palette of paintings and pictures. I think good art is a mixture of achieving the realistic and an expression of oneself so art is anything, but not everything is art."

Dan  Whoarly

Dan Whoarly creates clear-cut iconographic paintings in black and white. Each large scale work, measuring just under a meter square, has been hand painted on canvas and stretched over a box frame just over five centimeters deep. The depth of the frame combined with the stark contrast of black and white, gives the work an extra level of dramatic impact.

John Workman

Much of John's inspiration comes from 18th century landscapes, though he updates their gentility with found materials such as wallpaper set behind glass panels. That is just one of the techniques the artist uses to create an illusion of depth - he has recently progressed into using light boxes.

Paul Wright

Paul Wright’s resplendent paintings are produced by an Airbrush technique. An Airbrush allows its user to control the amount, the pressure and the speed by which paint is sprayed on to a surface. Once the technique is mastered, it becomes a perfect method to produce photo realistic images.
